On Thursday, August 24, Oz New Orleans presented their Southern Decadence Employee Turnabout and Buy A Boy Auction to benefit the Official charities and foundations for Southern Decadence.  This year the charities are St. Anna’s Dodwell House and NOAGE.  The event drew a large crowd who were ready to place their bids on the stable of young men who graced the stage.

The Highest bidder got a lovely dinner at a noteworthy restaurant with their prize (or whoever they want to bring). Guests were treated to a delectable spread of food provided by Quatermaster Deli upstairs before the show.
Persana Shoulders emceed the evening’s festivities joined on stage for the auction by former Grand Marshal Jeffrey Palmquist.  In between auctions, our favorite Oz employees donned drag and performed some interesting numbers. It is always interesting to see your favorite bartender, doorman or DJ in full blown drag showing their glamour chops.

Persana’s co-grand marshals Princesse Stephaney and Coca Mesa were also on hand to celebrate.  The show started off with a fabulous rendition by all the performers to Katy Perry’s Swish Swish tune. Sexy studs, great performances, delicious food and helping a worthy cause; all came together to create the perfect Southern Decadence fundraiser.
