Join the Mystic Krewe of Satyricon in NOCCA’s Lupin Hall (2800 Chartres Street) for a Performance and Party with Broadway Star Michael Cerveris and Seth Rudetsky. The Broadway at NOCCA series returns to New Orleans with a one-night-only performance by singer, guitarist, actor, and part-time New Orleanian Michael Cerveris. He’s won two Tony Awards to date — one for his performance in Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins, the other for one of the hottest tickets on Broadway right now, Fun Home. He’s also starred in Sweeney Todd, Passion, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Who’s Tommy, and countless others.

Michael chats with SiriusXM radio star/Broadway know-it-all Seth Rudetsky. You’ll hear Michael talk about his life in show business, share a bit of backstage gossip, and perform some of his favorite songs. Johnny Passion is proud to present her monthly LaFamilia Variety Show entitled “That’s Showbiz” at the Four Seasons Bar (3229 N. Causeway Blvd.). The show stars host Johnny Passion, Mercedes E. L’Oreal, Monique Michaels and Nicole Lynn Foxx with a spotlight by Trixie LaCroche. Showtime is 10 p.m. and there is NO cover!

#7. Friday and Saturday, December 18 & 19, 2015

New Orleans Gay Men’s Chorus (NOGMC) takes to the stage once again for their annual Christmas concert Sounds of the Season. Come and hear the Chorus sing out traditional Christmas carols, all-time favorite tunes and maybe a twist or two. NOGMC’s music will fill your heart with peace and joy! They will also be collecting food for Food for Friends in New Orleans and for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank in Baton Rouge. Please bring non-perishable items to donate. Sounds of the Season will be performed in New Orleans on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the UNO Performing Arts Center Recital Hall and in Baton Rouge on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, 8470 Goodwood Boulevard. Over the holidays yet? Come join Kitty D’ Litter, Kayla Starr and special guest Puddin Tain for “The Holidays are such a Drag Show” at the Tulane Avenue Bar (3813 Tulane Avenue). There will be some non-Christmas drag shenanigans starting at 9 p.m. There is a $5 cover. Come hungry as the kitchen is now open during the show!
